Welding Capabilities

Welding permanently joins metal components to create strong, durable seams and attachment points. Our precision welding services are an efficient way to assemble components with high precision and weld consistency, at small or large production volumes.

GMAW Arc Welding

In Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), sometimes called metal inert gas or MIG welding, a long piece of metal wire is fed through a welding torch, creating an electrical arc that melts the wire. The resulting pool of liquid metal joins the two workpieces together. A stream of shielding gas, such as argon, protects the arc and melted electrode from contamination.

It is a fast and reliable method that can be performed from any direction (i.e., horizontal, vertical, inverted) and is highly compatible with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Arc welding produces very clean welds with little spatter or slag, which reduces post-weld clean up.

Our high-quality arc welding services are designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern manufacturing and fabrication. With advanced equipment and CWB certification, we can deliver precise, durable, and structurally sound welds across a variety of metals and applications.

Robotic Welding

Robotic welding is a high-speed, highly repeatable way to create precision joints that require little additional finishing like grinding or polishing. An articulated robotic arm, fitted with a welding torch, performs pre-programmed movements identically on every cycle. The result is welds with little variation, high-quality weldments, and efficient production, even at large volumes.

Welding robots can greatly reduce error rates and cycle times when compared with typical human welding operations. However, robotic welding cells are still managed and overseen by experienced human welders who monitor the inflow and outflow of components, weld parameters, and the use of consumables.

At Tubeway, we leverage state-of-the-art robotic MIG welding systems to deliver high-quality, consistent, and efficient welds across a wide range of materials and part geometries. Our automated welding solutions are engineered for precision, speed, and repeatability—making us a reliable partner for high-volume production, critical assemblies, and complex weld requirements.

Laser Welding

Laser welding is a non-contact process that produces a very clean and precise result. Lasers send a very thin, focused light beam that melts the material and makes a deep, narrow join. A major advantage of this method is that it creates a very small heat-affected zone, or HAZ, which can distort or damage the surrounding material. Because the heat from the laser is so concentrated, the HAZ is small, and distortion is minimal.

Laser welding is often performed with a robotic arm, which makes it a high-speed and repeatable process. Welds are more consistent and require very little additional finishing.

Our laser welding capabilities deliver high-precision, high-strength welds tailored for demanding manufacturing applications. Utilizing state-of-the-art laser systems, we provide fast, clean, and accurate welding solutions ideal for intricate components, thin materials, and heat-sensitive assemblies.
